Feel better?
Good. Because now things go nasty.

This might appear to be a bit of a filler piece by the prolific Finian Cunningham, but there are things lurking here, both between and right on the lines.
So let's take a look.
We are now in the realm of World War Three. The abysmal situation is such that the war is in danger of going nuclear in which case the future of the planet is at stake.
Sounds serious. But it's something most of us have understood for some time. The war hawks might think a thermonuclear conflict is a nothing burger, but we don't.
Now here's where it gets dicey.
Incredibly, to warn of this danger leaves a person open to the accusation that they are peddling Russian propaganda. Blindly, the Western governments are doubling down on the powder-keg.
Yup. There you have it. You must never view things from any POV other than that of the good old stars and stripes. Little brown babies? Where?
Back to stark reality.
The US-led NATO alliance is flooding Ukraine with heavy offensive weaponry capable of hitting Russia, and the British government this week has openly called for Ukraine to target Russia's 'depth' with NATO weapons.
That's serious.
Most of that is effectively money-laundering and no more, but it's the whirlwind of absolute gusto that stands out.
Russia's Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov commented that the US military alliance is now fully-fledged in a proxy war against Russia. He said there is a 'serious danger' of confrontation spiraling into a nuclear conflagration.
Poor Sergey. How he manages to deal with them. They've been pleading with them for openness and honesty and an end to the bullying since 2007. Ain't gonna happen. Fish swim in water, birds fly in air, DC hawks bully. That's all there is to that.
Only a fool or an insane person could remain insouciant about the dynamic unfolding.
Finian's just delineated the demographic.
Can one perhaps be more detailed, more specific?
Sure. Elements of the following.
People who have FOX NEWS on 24/7 because they want the latest WAR UPDATES.
People who tune into RACHEL MADDOW.
People who watch BBC, C5, ITN, Sky news.
People who watch only Euronews and TRT News.
People who think Tucker Carlson is impartial just because he has Tulsi Gabbard on now and then.
People who flock to Fox & Friends for the news (and the legs).
People who think Don Lemon, Brian Stelter, Anderson Cooper are underrated.
Assorted members of the MIC who regularly appear on CNN and MSNBC.
Only for the final group is thermonuclear war a reality, but to them it's still no big deal. To everyone else it's not even real.
Now here's where things get very serious indeed.
Ominously, there is evidently no diplomatic will from Washington and its allies to address the background to the war in Ukraine or Russia's long-held security concerns. The United Nations Secretary-General Antonio Guterres is being vilified for even attempting to negotiate a peace settlement by going this week to Moscow before traveling on to Kiev.
And G's already been, and the transcript of their meeting's online.

There is a palpable sense that the US and NATO are recklessly pushing a military showdown with Russia - albeit under the cynical guise of 'defending Ukraine'. All the while, the Western public is being kept in the dark by a complicit corporate-controlled news media.
Yes, very palpable. All autumn long the US prodded Russia, trying to provoke into war. To no avail. At the same time, they were gearing up Zelensky to go to direct war with Russia - in March 2022. You think they may have a plan?
Russia's got eleven time zones, at least a quarter of the planet's landmass, but the US has some 800 military bases in perhaps 150 countries. No one's sure of the exact tally, even in the US, as their nomenclature system is indecipherable. But they're out there, burning US taxpayer dollars on biolabs and who knows what.
They don't care much about the US taxpayer. All the R&D that went into those toxic vaccines was paid for by the US taxpayer. Pfizer's two-year revenues were pure profit - $70 billion. Almost as much as Creepy Joe left behind in Afghanistan. Taxpayer money. Who cares?
Now, with the Deep Staters salivating at World War Three finally in their sights, they know they can pull off any number of tricks to 'mix things up'. Start an outright proxy war with China perhaps? All is feasible in either of the Oval Offices.
RAMSTEIN (RMS)
(Courtesny https://fraproductions.com.)
Here’s an extensive look at that base.
https://www.businessinsider.com/ramstein-air-base-tour-2014-9
BTW, the aftermath of WWI saw an amazing thing happen.
But wait! Want to see GG on Tucker Carlson first? OK. Let’s watch.
https://www.bitchute.com/video/XViYBJP7zPN1/
What GG highlights is that there is a sort of mania permeating DC. Yes, mostly the Democrats, but also a bit of the 'establishment'.
[Why do they shout so much? Whatever.]
[Where does Elon Musk fit in here? Whatever.]
Now back to Germany. And Finian Cunningham.
This week saw the United States host what can only be called a war conference at its European command center in the Ramstein airbase, Germany, where NATO military chiefs coordinated their weapons delivery to Ukraine. This is a war footing.
US Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin said the United States and its NATO allies would 'move heaven and earth' to get more weapons into Ukraine to defeat Russia's military intervention in that country. Austin's rhetoric was a disturbing malapropism with apocalyptic resonance.
Note:
But it does reveal the determination to take on Russia that is now openly visceral. The conflict in Ukraine is emerging for what it is - a war between the US-led NATO bloc and Russia. Moscow has long held that the US and NATO are a hostile entity tacitly aiming to subjugate Russia. Such claims have been derided as Russian paranoia. However, it's now apparent that the actual intent is hostility and defeat of Russia.
Note:
Austin stated at the Ramstein conference that America's allies are now openly exploiting an opportunity to 'weaken Russia' and pursue the regime change objective in Moscow that Biden referred to in his controversial Warsaw speech last month.
Note:
Earlier this week, US Secretary of State Antony Blinken accompanied Austin, the Pentagon's civilian chief, on a secret visit to the Ukrainian capital Kiev. American news media dutifully complied with an embargo on reporting the Sunday visit which shows that these media are complicit in conforming to Washington's agenda of belligerence.
The American envoys held three-hour discussions with Zelensky during which they pledged more military support on top of the huge arsenal already provided by the US. The meeting was a stark signal to Moscow of what the real intentions of the US are.
This is not about resolving Russia's grievances over NATO expansionism and the neutrality of Ukraine. That discourse was never taken seriously by the United States anyway. No, now relations are in the framework of the US waging war against Russia, and Ukraine’s merely the present battleground.
Return to Poland
When the top American officials returned to Poland they held a press conference Monday at a warehouse shipping NATO weapons to Ukraine. At one stage, Austin told reporters about the earlier meeting with Zelensky: 'So our focus in the meeting was to talk about those things that would enable us [sic] to win the current fight and also build for tomorrow [sic].'
Unable to contain his enthusiasm for confrontation, the Pentagon chief went on to make it more apparent the direct US involvement: 'In terms of our - their ability to win, the first step in winning is believing that you can win. And so they believe that we can win; we believe that they - we can win - they can win if they have the right equipment, the right support. And we're going to do everything we can - continue to do everything we can to ensure that that gets there.'
Study that.
Brief recap:
When Russian President Vladimir Putin ordered what he called 'the special military operation' in Ukraine on February 24, he said Russia had no choice but to defend the Russian-speaking people of the Donbass who had endured eight years of a deadly offensive by the NATO-backed Kiev regime forces.
Further truth bombs:
The United States, NATO, and the Kiev regime have shown no will whatsoever to resolve the civil war in Ukraine peacefully by implementing the Minsk accords negotiated in 2015.
Time to draw conclusions.
It is more apparent than ever that the conflict in the Ukraine was never a localised civil war but rather was always a front line in a bigger geopolitical confrontation between the US-led NATO bloc and Russia, as Bruce Gagnon explained in a recent interview for Strategic Culture Foundation.
Instead of an earnest effort to genuinely resolve the conflict, the NATO-backed Kiev regime and its openly Nazi regiments are mobilising in a general war footing against Russia.
Yes. And GG offers a partial explanation, but that's mostly based on the Beltway grapevine. There are far more sinister forces at work. Such as why did the US provide support for Bandera freakos for 45 years, and why did they take it up again? It's obvious why they kept this away from public awareness.
These are military people. These are people who love war.
Ponder for a moment the fact that this top-level meeting took place in a 'foreign country' in an area controlled by the US where the laws of that host country hardly apply.
Some grunts who work there will never leave the base. Not once. They'll never see Germany (if there's anything to see). They only set foot onto soil of the extended empire.
Ponder the taxpayer money spent on all those flying machines. On the mind-boggling infrastructure at work there. On the organisation and the manpower. Ponder what they are carrying, from where, to where, on whose orders. Certainly Maximilian and friends do incredible work, but...
What did Brian Williams say before he took Berlin?
Ramstein's a country within a country.
https://infogalactic.com/info/Ramstein_Air_Base
https://www.globalsecurity.org/military/facility/kaiserslautern.htm
Ramstein Air Base (RMS) is a USAF base in Rhineland-Palatinate, a state in southwestern Germany. It serves as headquarters for the United States Air Forces in Europe (Air Forces Africa USAFE-AFAFRICA) and is also a NATO installation.
Of course it is.
Besides the US Air Force, the installation's population includes Belgian, British, Canadian, Czech, Danish, Dutch, French, German, Italian, Norwegian, and Polish personnel.
The KMC remains the largest US community overseas at 54,000.
Let it all hang out
Back to Finian's Rainbow.
The rationale is now explicitly stated as the US and its allies wanting to defeat Russia and subjugate it.
Subjugate?
British armed forces minister James Heappey even went as far as telling the BBC this week that Ukrainian forces should strike Russia's depth with NATO weaponry.
This is where it gets dangerous. It matters not that you (hopefully) agree this is batshit. What matters is that they do not.
Back in History
Anyway, back to the aftermath of WWI when a truly amazing thing happened.
For German military traveled to Great Britain after the Great War to meet their British counterparts. To discuss future military strategies. The advent of aviation changed everything.
Aviation had mostly been used for reconnaissance. But the bomber was coming now, and the bomber would change everything.
Up to now, war had been a bunch of Joe Blogs with bows and arrows on a hillside. They'd tire after a while and go down to the local pub for a pint.
But now civilians could be used.
The new strategy, the Brits and Germans concurred, was to bomb the shit out of the civilian populace until they overthrew their governments.
Hiroshima... Nagasaki...
The United States and its NATO allies have willfully ignored Russia's decades-long concerns about its security and in particular the use of Ukraine as a cat's paw to destabilise and dissipate Russia. The full-on US imperial war agenda of targeting Russia for defeat is now coming into focus. The crazies are in charge of the asylum. And shouting about it too.
Now the buzz is about Elon Musk. But the conflict in Ukraine rages on. Russia's trying to end things as soon and as painlessly as possible, but the good people in DC aren’t so inclined - they want it dragged on and on and on - with, typically, no regard for human collateral damage.
And it's not just Ukraine either. It never has been.
How do you root out an enemy you can't even see?
Shameless Plug
The people who run this Substack do so because they feel they must. They’re programmers otherwise. They’re programming consultants and teachers. They have collections of their own utilities available for both Windows and the Mac.
Just a thought.
Our suggestion is you spread the word as much as you can. Review Tucker Carlson’s chat with Glenn Greenwald as they take a sober look at what’s going on, then do your part to get people to ‘snap out of it’.
Thermonuclear World War Three is a horrific prospect - but not to the people in DC.
