RT remains the best way to know what's going on. The Rumble connection seems best.

RT have 30-minute updates every hour on the hour. They have documentaries every hour on the half hour. Yes, things get repetitive, as they do on Zone A news channels, but at least there's fewer adverts.
A number of familiar presenters are conspicuous in their absence, but many remain.
The RT sites are under 24/7 cyberattack, so they use 24/7 protection against DDoS.

Angles on Ukraine
There are two possible angles on Ukraine.
The US is winning. The US always wins.
The Empire of Lies is at an end. Get the popcorn.
Those who see through the fog of war generally have one of two opinions.
Putin was right to invade.
Putin was not right to invade.
But they all understand his reasoning.
A big question of course is why he waited eight years and fourteen thousand lives. The answer should be apparent.
The US wanted Russia to save Donbass, as their move could be seen as an invasion and given the US the justification for directly attacking Russia.
Also, Russian forces were not as strong in 2014 as they are today.
Also, the people of Donbass explicitly did not want to break free of Ukraine back then, but instead talked of a 'federated autonomy' within Ukraine. (Thus the Minsk agreements.)
Perhaps that can be seen as a strategic mistake on the part of Donbass. Whatever. The times have changed and the position of the pieces on the Grand Chessboard has changed.
The people of Donbass sincerely wanted help. Who wouldn't? With Zelensky intensifying his attacks on them, using the killing machines of NATO, Russia would have been remiss not to rescue them.
Rescue Mariupol
Civilians finally rescued from Mariupol tell chilling tales. Russia troops now using pinpoint strikes on Azovstal. Nazis have prevented civilians from evacuating.
'We come not to destroy but to free.'
Wait until you hear how the US will dust off FDR's Lend-Lease Act...
'Not In My Name'
The people of Italy are reacting, posting 'Not In My Name' about NATO, and marching in the streets. Italian MEP Francesco Donato spoke out against the situation.
Irish MEPs are also up in arms. Rutte in Holland doesn't like it. Germany, Austria, and Hungary are getting frustrated with Stoltenberg.
The EU's response is to try to pressure Hungary.
Two former Sputnik journos have been disappeared in Estonia, detained now for a month. No info available.
'All Russians are our enemies', declared German MSM outlet Frankfurter Allgemeine.
The Bucha False Flag
A very long analysis and deconstruction by the Saker.

What To Do?
Watching the end of a seemingly pointless movie, early in the morning on British mostly 24/7 telly, a flick from 1976 with Sean Connery and Audrey Hepburn called Robin and Marian. It extrapolates from the legend of Robin Hood and culminates in a standoff between Robin and Prince John (played by Robert Shaw) where the prince of course gets his just desserts but our hero Robin is also wounded. As Marian arrives on the scene, of course she takes on the needed role of the questioning critic, asking with her pleading eyes 'why', as if uttering that famous line from Goldeneye: 'Boys with Toys'. Is it not possible to settle one's differences without bloodshed?
Indeed. Such should be the hallmark of the rational being. And this should and must hold true, but for one historically notorious exception.
Nazism.
The Nuremberg trials made it painfully clear that Nazism was to be no more. The Nuremberg trials continued for almost five years. The European Economic Community (EEC) was born in that time frame in an effort to make the constantly warring nations of that continent economically interdependent so they'd never again lose their cool and take to a battlefield.
The idea of the EEC was brilliant. Other ideas, not so brilliant and anything but idealistic, soon took root. And then there came the clumsy and furtive machinations of the new kid in town - the US who'd grown into a superpower overnight. The US boasted to the world of their invincible firepower by annihilating two Japanese towns to the ultimate tune of half a million casualties. But they hadn't learned a thing. They'd never been a peaceful or moral people, and now they were going to exert their influence on the world and dominate it.
And dominate it they did. A people full of bloodlust who would stop at nothing to achieve their goals. Such is the legacy of the post-war period that was supposed to be one of a new and hopefully permanent peace.
That era may now soon be at an end. And not a nanosecond too soon.
James Howard Kunstler has written a superb and spot-on essay republished at SOTT.

https://kunstler.com/clusterfuck-nation/what-is-to-be-done/
Yes it's time to take off the gloves. It's really time. For at the centre of this latest outrage is - you guessed it...
'The black hole of depravity known as Hunter Biden's laptop dilates ever wider as the rickety Joe Biden regime chugs towards its event horizon of disgrace and collapse, throwing off the jetsam of our nation's remnant honour in its toxic vapour trail.'
Kunstler's only warming up.
'The mentally incompetent husk of a crooked old pol is owned by every foreign interest in his decaying orbit, and owned as well by the foul and perfidious intel mafia lodged like a cancerous mass, eating away at what used to be known as the American government. Face it: this false president, installed by malignant forces allied with his Party of Chaos, is a menace to our nation.'
All quiet on the eastern front?
'The Russian cleanup of Ukraine has exposed the operational base of the Biden family's flagrant crimes. The laptop confirms that Hunter's Rosemont Seneca front company invested in the chain of bioweapons labs set up by the CIA and the Department of Defense and operated through their front company Metabiota, with tendrils reaching to the Wuhan lab that was the most likely point-of-origin for SARS-CoV-2, aka Covid-19.'
The 'most likely' can be dispensed with. A senior DARPA fellow exposed the truth a while ago. It was indeed Anthony Fauci and Peter Daszak behind it all, violating the law to try to make a vaccine that would eradicate bat coronaviruses for all time, a totally Doctor Strangelove scenario, half-baked and therefore summarily dissed and dismissed by the agency.
'Money money money everywhere along the trail for the Biden Family, fees-for-service from the crooked Ukrainian oligarch Mykola Zlochevsky, chairman of Burisma...'
Those who were paying attention at the time did find it bizarre to hear the name 'Biden' pop up like a Gollum in the middle of the genocidal attack on Donbass, but many thought it was Victoria Nuland calling the shots. They had somehow failed to register the fact that it was Nuland's boss, the 'big guy', ultimately behind it all. (Holding Barack Obama responsible must come later - after all, he's the controversial recipient of an obscure Norwegian peace prize...)
'If the American public had known of these entanglements, Joe Biden would certainly not have been the beneficiary of the engineered balloting irregularities that determined the 2020 election. But the public, still reeling from the mind-fuckery of Covid-19, was left ignorant through the combined operations of the CIA's captured social networks along with a tractable legacy news media.'
It's not certain the vox populi would have voted differently. There's been a strong 'anyone but Trump' sentiment throughout the US. This sentiment is not based on actual tangible data, any more than sentiments of today, but based on the Hollywood-inspired emotions that continue to ignore the obvious fact that the rest of the world, the planet at large, would just rather fucking have peace and have the toxic US leave them the fuck alone, and stuff all their PNAC regime change shit, whereas the likes of Alyssa and Sean Penn are only interested in polish and decorum. The corrupt establishment are good at polish and decorum, and Alyssa and Sean Penn don't give a flying fuck how many little brown babies get burned to a cinder.
SOTT comment:
'A compromised candidate can be controlled. One with dead brainwaves is even better.'
Rotten Through and Through
'Of course, the FBI had Hunter's laptop in its possession in January of 2020. How is it possible that the device and all its incriminating contents were withheld as evidence in the momentous impeachment trial of Donald Trump which, after all, was instigated by Mr Trump's inquiring phone call about those very matters involving the Bidens and Mykola Zlochevsky?'
Indeed. Twice over.
In years to come, if decency should prevail on this nut bar planet, the word 'Biden' will be the most reviled in any language. Voldemort didn't have a bitch named Jill, or a son named Hunter.
For that touches on the one and only undisputed talent in that long and totally lacklustre career of one of the planet's most evil men: to lie like no one else, to turn obvious crimes on their heads, to get people to see that 2 + 2 really is not 4.
'Answer: Because the FBI was already rattled by the unravelling truth about its seditious role in the RussiaGate folly, and the agency was wholly invested in the removal of Mr Trump before top agency officials found themselves in grand juries - federal crimes on top of federal crimes by federal officials. How do we stand for that?'
Joe Biden felt - and continues to feel - perfectly at home in that environment. Biden is a Nixon v2.0 for the new millennium, ten times uglier and ten times worse.
Going Medieval
'Too many can see that everything now in American life is going south. Joe Biden has knocked the remaining props out from under the country's assumed standard-of-living. We are on track to go medieval in months, not years: no replacement parts for our machines, no money (or else money that's worthless). No food, no heat, no light, no getting from Point A to Point B, soon no hope. And if we're really unlucky, the very land itself and the things we've built upon it reduced to cinders and ash.'
Obama's words echo. November 2024 is just too far off.
'Liberty, the rule of law, freedom of speech and the press, the dignity of work, our sense of obligation to a common good, and the decorum of truth-telling.'
Yes, those were noble sentiments. Held for show by an already corrupt US government. But few saw behind the sham back then. And, for those that did, no one paid them any heed.
Now it's out in the open, more and more. The other side have dug in their heels. Will good win out over evil?
Come on, man!
Что делать? (Так что же нам делать?)
Russian writer Tolstoy first came up with the expression 'что делать', or 'what to do', when he first realised just how much corruption was around him. He didn't have a clear and cogent solution that societies accepted. Will we?
Tolstoy's famous nonfiction work was published in 1886 on Valentine's Day. Suck on that choco.

'I can remember the time when rich people were ashamed to drive out with less than four horses and two lackeys, were ashamed not to have a lackey or a chambermaid to dress them, put their boots on for them, wash them, hold the po for them, and so on.'
'A young man keeps horses to show off, and they are broken in at danger to life by a man old enough to be his father or grandfather, while the young man himself mounts the horse only when the danger is passed. What does that young man call one who, avoiding it himself, puts another in danger and avails himself of the danger for his own pleasure?'
'And the whole life of the wealthy classes is made up of a series of such actions. The excessive work of old men, of children, and of women, and things done by others at risk to their lives, not that we may be able to work, but for our whims, fill our whole life. A fisherman is drowned catching fish for us, washerwomen catch cold and die, blacksmiths go blind. Factory hands fall ill and are mutilated by machines, wood-fellers are crushed by falling trees, workmen fall from a roof, and seamstresses become consumptive. All real work is done with loss and peril of life. To hide this and not see it is impossible. The one salvation in this situation, the one exit from it that a man of our time, shifting on to others the labour and peril of life, may not have, in accord with his own outlook on life, to call himself a scoundrel and a coward - is to take from others only what is essential for life, and himself do real work at expense and risk to his own life.'
[Politicians almost invariably seek election to acquire wealth. They do not first acquire wealth so they can, when elected, improve things for others.]
'A time will soon come, is already coming, when it will be a shame and a disgrace not only to eat a dinner of five courses served by footmen, but to eat a dinner that has not been cooked by the hosts themselves. It will be a shame not only to drive out with fast trotters but even in a common cab when one can use one's own legs. Or on workdays to wear clothes, boots, or gloves in which one cannot work, or to play on a piano costing £120 or even £5, while others, strangers, are having to work for one. Or to feed a dog on milk and white bread while there are people who have no milk or bread. And to burn lights except to work by, or to heat a stove in which food is not cooked, while there are people who lack fire or light.'
'We are so confused by our false way of life, we men of our circle have all so utterly lost the sense of life that there is no longer any distinction between us. Having shifted the whole burden and danger of life onto the backs of others, we are unable to give ourselves the true name deserved by those who compel others to perish in providing life for them - scoundrels and cowards.'
Things may change in the coming years. Russia's success in the Ukraine seems inevitable, despite the West being badgered by what's called the biggest information operation in history. Voldemort's polls continue to hint at a landslide victory for the other guys in the autumn. Not that they're the real deal and not mostly swamp creatures too, but certain things seem inevitable.
Nancy Pelosi will no longer be speaker of the house. This means she's no longer third in line if congress cites Amendment 25.
That also means - or should mean - the end of the Jan 6 committee and the barbaric incarceration of hundreds for possible misdemeanours.
That can also mean a lot of other investigative committees can be formed to root out corruption.
It should also mean that Voldemort's junta cannot continue to screw things up as before.
And this in turn can hopefully lead to a return to a feeling of hope that things can be fixed.
Rand Paul should also get traction, with Fauci & Friends picking up and studying travel brochures for Caribbean getaways. And many heroes from the Covid crisis can get deserved vindication.
